Basic demo compo rules:

- Maximum showtime: 10 minutes (fr-08 was also ~10min long,
and have to say, it's got to be a bit boring, no? :))))
- It HAS to quit any time by pressing ESC. If it simply reboots, you should rather sneak at the wall insted of walking from that point...
- Special demands have to be told before compo (Linux, etc..)
- Demos containing animation or animation being played by a programmed player, will be moved to the Anim/wild compo.

256byte:

- Max file size: 256 byte
- It has to be 1 file (plus text files that are not parts of the production shown)
- It cannot seek on HDD.
- Amiga/pc is assembled
- Besides the basic demo compo rules are valid!

4k:

- Max file size: 4 kbyte (4096 byte).
- It has to be 1 file (plus text files tht are not parts of the production shown)
- It can read/write on/from HDD, but should clean all the temporary files at the end.
- Dropper can be used
- Amiga/pc is assembled
- Besides the basic demo compo rules are valid!

64k:

- Max file size: 64kbyte (65535 byte).
- It has to be 1 file (plus text files tht are not parts of the production shown)
- It can read/write on/from HDD, but should clean all the temporary files at the end.
- Dropper can be used
- Amiga/pc is assembled
- Besides the basic demo compo rules are valid!

demo:

- Max size: 32 MegaByte (extracted)
- It can read/write on/from HDD, but should clean all the temporary files at the end.
- Amiga/pc demos will be separated as each cathegories. If we get a slight amount of contribs, amiga/pc demos will be assembled into one compo.
- Besides the basic demo compo rules are valid!

C64 demo:

- Max 2 disk sides
- Besides the basic demo compo rules are valid!

java demo:

- Max size: 5 MegaByte (extracted, counting with all the data files!)
- will be shown under MSIE 6
- Besides the basic demo compo rules are valid!

anim/wild:

- For all the non-executable audiovisual work.
- Player device: Depends on the format of the contrib. It's recommended to bring/include the codec/player that's needed. VHS stinx.
- You can also compete with a statue. At most, we'll spin it on a pianist's chair.
